Poetic Short Stories
"Grace in Your Eyes"
In the halls of grace, where whispers hum,
James and Marigold were once bitter toward each other, but love would come.
Marigold in self-righteous ways,
James, with a charismatic charm you can spot a mile away
College halls, with chaos and cheer,
They clashed and argued, year after year.
She called him reckless, he called her cold,
But something deep shifted, unspoken, untold.
He found her in a church, head bowed low,
Whispers unknown,
And she saw him pray, heart open wide,
For the first time, she saw his pride—
Not in his strength, nor his charm so bright,
But in his faith, his love for the Holy One
Late-night talks that turned to more,
Of Jesus, dreams, what life’s for.
He laughed at her jokes. She softened her frown,
The walls crumbled down, love spun ‘round.
From enemies' sharp to sweet love’s fire,
Two hearts entwined, a shared desire.
They prayed together, hand in hand,
Building dreams on solid land.
In the glow of campus, where love was reborn,
They laughed at the battles that made them torn.
Now their hearts beat in perfect rhyme,
With God as their anchor, love for all time.
A sweet blend of faith, humor, and a bit of romance—where love and laughter bloom even from the toughest of starts!

Story 2
"Love Again, Against the Odds"
We met once, in days gone by,
A spark, a flame, but then goodbye.
You never called, and I moved on
Matthew the dreamer, I the planner,
Two hearts, two worlds, not quite in hand.
Years went by, and life moved fast,
Our love was a story, a thing of the past.
But fate, she has a funny way,
Of turning the night back into day.
I saw you first, at that Mocha Café,
A little older, but still,
Your smile made me weak in the knees,
You laughed, then winced, “Not again, no way!”
But I knew, in my heart, love had more to say.
The past may have fallen, like leaves in the fall,
But second chances, dear, are the sweetest of all.
We argued at first, like old times, it seemed,
The way we bickered was like a bad dream.
But somewhere between the coffee and cake,
We found that old magic, for love's own sake.
You spoke of your dreams, and I heard them clearly,
I told you my fears, and you drew near.
We laughed at the mess, the heartache, and tears,
And suddenly the past seemed worth all the years.
In the chaos of life, love found its way,
Two hearts, two souls, starting again today.
From opposites clashing to a perfect blend,
We learned that some loves were made to mend.
So here we are, love in full bloom,
You said, "Daisy, can you give another chance?"
"Matthew, you took the words right out of my heart."
Turning the page, no longer room
For regret or fear, just laughter and light,
Finding our love again, against the night.

Story #3
"God’s Perfect Timing"
In a room full of laughter, in a youth group so bright,
Two hearts met by chance, under God’s gentle light.
Chad, with his kindness, and Marie, with her grace,
Both searching for purpose, both seeking His face.
They talked about faith, about dreams, and the sky,
Shared stories of struggles, of asking God why.
Their hearts beat in rhythm, their souls intertwined,
In that fleeting moment, they knew love would find.
But in the chaos of youth, amidst jokes and cheer,
They forgot to exchange numbers, to make it all clear.
As the evening wound down, and the group said goodbye,
They parted, not knowing it wasn’t their last try.
Then came the fire—so fierce and wild,
The church burned to ashes, scattering all the families to different places.
Marie found herself wandering, alone and displaced,
Chad is in another county, but seeking His grace.
Days turned to weeks, then months, with no word,
The silence was deafening, though God's voice was heard.
For in their hearts, they both quietly knew,
What was meant to be, God would surely do.
Chad prayed each morning, with hope in his soul,
Trusting that God’s plan would make them whole.
Marie knelt by her window, tears in her eyes,
Believing that love would return, no goodbyes.
And one bright Sabbath, in a new town, they met,
Not by chance, but by God’s love set.
Chad turned to see her, his heart skipped a beat,
Marie, with her smile, made him no longer alone.
They laughed at the timing, so perfect, so right,
How God’s hand had guided them, from darkness to light.
In that moment, they knew it was true,
What was meant to happen would always come through.
For love, like faith, grows stronger with time,
And God’s perfect plan is always sublime.
Chad and Marie, now side by side,
In His love and grace, they would forever reside.
